I adore my role for local couples and I have planned many local weddings for couples based overseas (this ATM is incredibly helpful with Covid). So if you are coming home from other cities or countries or just visiting in a year or two I can help too. The use of the internet is of course extremely effective but having a person like me on the ground locally is very helpful. I am also very happy to work alongside family or friends here who may also be helping you.

I have extensive and real local knowledge and experience with 100s of suppliers all over the South Island (and now reaching in the rest of NZ), along with comprehensive knowledge of venues and places too.

Costs – How much the big question!

Your wedding is likely to be the biggest event you will plan in your life. Even smaller weddings require intricate planning to ensure they look and feel relaxed. And in many cases it will be a big expense to you and your families.

I am very passionate about setting realistic budgets – I will be honest with you from the start. I will keep the spreadsheet up to date so we keep to it. I know how important it is when budgeting for your wedding to know what the costs of your suppliers are upfront without finding hidden costs being charged after your wedding day

As for my pricing and packages I keep it simple and easy to understand and there are NO hidden costs.

Given that each wedding is different I have found that it is difficult to provide rigid price packages without discussing the needs with each couple first. This way a quote is tailor made to your requirements and you are not locked into paying for services that you do not need from me.

However, in summary I have an Initial Advice Package that is an introduction to the planning and may be just what you need to start. We would cover supplier and venue recommendations, runsheet, tips and notes and setting a budget. All based on honest commentary and real life experience with your wedding location.

My full planning package varies widely based on location, venue and guest numbers. This package varies so don’t be afraid to contact me and it is incredible value given the amount of work and pride I take in each wedding.

I do not undertake on-day/week coordination instead of full planning. But on rare occasions I may consider this if your wedding is out of season for example. And we can also  have a ‘check in’ if you are in the middle of your planning already.

I do not accept any kickbacks or referral fees from any supplier and will only propose the very best supplier for you and will pass on the best prices and benefits to you. I love doing this

We can have an initial chat/meeting or Skype with no obligation to take it further. Then if you are keen I write up a formal proposal for you and only then only when you say “yes please” we get the wedding planning started!
