A wedding planner is essential not just for brides who’ve been dreaming of the day since they were little but even more so for those of us who hadn’t! As the groom and I were a blank slate Emma helped us tap into an aesthetic that was true to us and that we could get excited about. In contrast to an event held at a professional venue, our at-home wedding required even more planning than we had anticipated and she brought to our attention numerous details that we had never considered.

We always felt like a priority even though Emma had other clients to attend to. From the first consult to the day itself she kept us on track and motivated with her constant enthusiasm, and in many respects exceeded her brief regarding this.  Having access to her ready-made list of tried and tested suppliers saved us a huge amount of time in the planning process and from any disappointments on the day, and it was hugely reassuring for us and family to have Emma take over completely in the final couple of weeks.

Our wedding day was just what we had hoped for and we fielded endless compliments over the overall organisation, the decision to have a children’s entertainer, and the choice of caterer – all thanks to Emma! Another point of difference was the large number of children attending and as a result of Emma’s recommendations the kids had a great time as well as their parents.
